Last May I recieved a phonecall from my brother three days before his wedding asking me to photograph their wedding (my first!). Needless to say it was a mad dash of planning on my part, but thier wedding pictures are what kicked off more requests for weddings and portraits last year! Thank you, Ben and Amanda for letting me photograph and be a part of your special day.
This fall I had the opportunity to take senior pictures for this lovely young lady. We’ll be doing a second round of them in the spring, but here is a sneak peek of what we were able to accomplish in a few short hours.
This is a family of one of my co-workers and is the last shoot I did before the doctor placed me on bedrest. She asked for some pictures she could use for her Christmas cards as well as some black and white that could be used for general purposes. She and her girls were so much fun to work with and this is what we were able to come up with!
Sometime this year I decided that instead of looking for vacations in far off places that I would look around to see what kind of entertainment the local area could provide me. One of the spots I found was the Discover Jazz Festival in Burlington, VT. As a part of the festival they offered a Jazz Cruise with the Onion River Jazz Band and, since I am a great jazz lover I decided to invite some of my family along with me to enjoy some New Orleans style Jazz.
My parents decided to come as a part of their 27th wedding anniversary and went ahead of us to have dinner at a waterfront restaurant.
