Dixieland Jazz Cruise

Sometime this year I decided that instead of looking for vacations in far off places that I would look around to see what kind of entertainment the local area could provide me. One of the spots I found was the Discover Jazz Festival in Burlington, VT. As a part of the festival they offered a Jazz Cruise with the Onion River Jazz Band and, since I am a great jazz lover I decided to invite some of my family along with me to enjoy some New Orleans style Jazz.

My parents decided to come as a part of their 27th wedding anniversary and went ahead of us to have dinner at a waterfront restaurant.

Freckles

This picture was taken while my husband and I were on vacation in August 2005. I love it because it shows the boyish sparkle in his eyes and (while he hates them) his freckles that I love so much.
